(The alarm system detects alarms only within the perimeter of the KDDI Center, up to the edge-switch, and does not include equipment within the customer's premises) |
| Notification of failure to customers | An email is automatically sent to the customer when a large-scale failure takes place at the switch level. (This does not include detection of local partial failures or loop detection within the customer's VLAN) |
