Information for KDDI INMARSAT Fleet Campaign Program.


From Inmarsat-Fleet terminals, fax communication [1] capability using telephone circuits is available in addition telephone service. Also users can take advantage of multimedia connectivity to use Inmarsat-HSD Service [2] and Internet Packet Data Service [3]. There are three types of the Inmarsat Fleet terminals that F77, F55 and F33 terminal. Users can choose these terminals depending on the ocean region or method of communications. The specifications are as follows:

Follow the steps below to use KDDI Inmarsat service from Inmarsat-Fleet terminals.

Turn on the power of your Inmarsat-Fleet terminal equipment. |
| 2. |
Make sure the antenna is oriented toward the correct satellite and confirm that the terminal status is "Standby". |
| 3. |
Dial the KDDI access number "003#".

Depending on the terminal manufacturer, the KDDI access number to be dialed may be "003*" or "003". In addition, it is possible to pre-register the KDDI access number in the terminal. For more information, please consult the operation manual for your terminal.

Next dial the telephone number beginning with the Country Code. |

Finally dial "#". |

"Auto-Routing" functionality now enables users to have communications automatically routed to any ocean region by simply selecting the Universal Ocean Region Code "870" and determine the ocean region where the destination terminal is located. This function is unavailable for communication to Inmarsat-A mobile terminal.
When sending a facsimile transmission to an Inmarsat-A mobile terminal, please dial "81" between the Ocean Region code and ID number.
In addition to the Automatic Dialing Code (00), various other services can be used by using the following codes.
