Outline
HSD (High Speed Data) Service using Inmarsat-B or F77/F55 terminals enables high-speed data communications between an Inmarsat terminal and a land-side ISDN terminal or between two Inmarsat terminals via 64kbps or 128kbps circuit. With this speedy connection, users can enjoy a variety of multimedia applications including Internet access to browse various web sites, visiting newspaper company web sites to read news articles, transmission/reception of pictures taken with a digital camera, videoconferencing, and remote medical assistance.

Also users can take advantage of multimedia connectivity (standard function of Inmarsat-Fleet terminals) to use Internet Packet Data Service.
