As corporations continue to expand internationally, the need for the timely exchange of all the varieties of information necessary for business activities between overseas locations has further increased. As a corporation’s central nervous system, a corporate communications network able to relay such information efficiently and reliably is an indispensable part of any management strategy.

This is a point-to-point service whereby a single communications circuit connects customers at two specific locations within Japan and overseas, relaying communications exclusively 24 hours a day.

Since the International Leased Circuit Service operates on a monthly fixed-rate system, use beyond the fixed-rate each month leads to a reduction in costs compared to pay-as-you-go systems, where the charge for public network services such as international phone calls and telexes depends on the amount those services are used.

This service allows for stable communications at all times without being affected by congested circuits during peak times, as occurs with public network services.

Since there are no restrictions on the communications media which customers use, it is possible to utilize a combination of voice, fax, teletype, data, images, and so on. This enables the construction of an economical and efficient network, since customers can connect to other telecommunications circuits and those other than the subscriber can use the International Leased Circuit Service under specific conditions.

In addition to providing multiple menus according to our customers applications and communications traffic, KDDI’s International Leased Circuit Service thoroughly supports our customers’f businesses, from subscription and circuit set-up to operations maintenance, through close collaboration with overseas communications carriers.

Our International Leased Circuit Service provides circuits comprising of two parts: international circuit between Japan and overseas, and domestic circuit, using stations as relay points.
