KDDI offers free-of-charge services which enable one-step applications and lump-sum payments within Japan in order to reduce the procedures for customers who subscribe to the International Leased Circuit Service. For example, while subscribing for a circuit between Japan and the United States is of course possible, you can also subscribe for circuits with a third country such as between the United States and the United Kingdom at the same time.
Currently, there are 29 “One-stop Shopping” service areas and 44 communications carriers, and we plan to gradually increase the number of areas handling this service in the future.

A discount rate is available for fixed-term contracts of three and five years in order for customers to use our International Leased Circuit Service more economically. Discounts of 5% for a three-year contract and 10% for a five-year contract will be made from the Japanese monthly international circuit rates.
Discounts of 5-15% will be made from all monthly International Leased Circuit Service fees which the customer uses, depending on the number of areas connected. The greater the number of areas you connect with, the bigger the discount.
When customers use both our Domestic and International Leased Circuit Services and utilize a single billing address, they will receive a discount from the circuit charge after applying for this discount. They can take advantage of a 5% discount for domestic services, and a 15% or 30% discount for international services, depending on the speed.

This service enables two high-bit links to be fully dual-layered between different international sections in the same area. Even if a circuit failure occurs, communications can be continued using a circuit on a different route. A discount of 10% on the monthly International Leased Circuit charge will be made from both circuits.
For each single leased circuit, customers can make use of a single backup circuit using a different route for the international section. Even if a failure occurs to the main circuit, communications can be continued by switching over to a backup circuit preliminarily established on a different route. Customers can use the backup circuit at a 40% discount on the regular monthly International Leased Circuit charge plus an ancillary charge.
Customers can use the International Leased Circuit Service at a 30% discount on the monthly International Lease Circuit charge when using it with either transmission only or reception only capability, rather than with a regular two-way circuit.
This is a service which temporarily switches from a Japanese KDDI leased circuit station at the international section over to a preliminarily designated station handling other KDDI leased circuits, for when customer’s terminal hardware fails. Even in the case that damage or technical failure occurs at the customer’s location, the connection can be continued from another communications center. It is also possible to set up a domestic section backup in addition to this.
This is a service which multiplexes the domestic section into a single circuit, when customers use multiple International Leased Circuits. This is designed to reduce domestic circuit costs, lead times for increasing circuits and work fees.
This is a service which switches to another domestic circuit preliminarily established with the customer if the International Leased Circuit can no longer be used due to failure at the domestic section. This requires a backup Domestic Leased Circuit fee and ancillary charge.
