Our International High-speed Digital Leased Circuit Service provides the backbone for corporate IT networks. It is a specialized service which not only combines TDM (time-division multiplexer) with data and telephone functions, but also is suitable for high-speed file and data transfer (56 kbps-150 Mbps) enabling such functions as inter-LAN communications and teleconferencing.
Since multiple voice, facsimile and data transfer functions can be processed by using multiplexers (MUX), an economical, high-speed and large-volume complex digital network can be constructed according to the customer’s bandwidth and terminal hardware.

As shown in the diagram, our International Leased Circuit Service provides circuits comprising of two parts: international circuit between Japan and overseas, and domestic circuit, using stations as relay points.

International circuit section is maintained by submarine cables or international communications satellites such as Intelsat.

For the domestic circuit section, which connects the customer to the closest KDDI station, a domestic leased circuit provided by a domestic communications carrier such as NTT is used.

By having the customer select the optimum transfer speed according to their information capacity and applications, a highly efficient and economical international corporate communications network can be constructed.
