SI Partners


What is an SI Partner?

SI Partners offer initial support and operation support for the KDDI Exclusive Server Service. In connection with the development of customer's e-mail or web servers, corporate Intranet systems, business systems, or other systems, KDDI takes your specific requirements into consideration and introduce the most suitable vendors (called SI Partners) that best match your needs. We also provide options specific to each SI Partner, so please feel free to make use of them.

Developing a new system
Develpment support services
Involves selection of suitable products and services, and designing and building a new system
Re-developing a system
Transferring existing systems
Involves surveying the existing systems and completely transferring them to KDDI's Exclusive Server Service
Security settings
Involves closing ports, controlling access through IP addresses (iptable, xinetd), etc.
Additional application installation service
Involves setup of additional applications that were not available on existing systems, upon customer's request.
Operation options
Service overview
Upgrading applications
Involves upgrading applications such as bind, Sendmail, Apache, etc. (except for DB). Upon customer's request, upgrading of RPM and upgrading thorough source code compilation are possible.
up2date service
Involves updating based on customer needs.
Monitoring service
Involves vital monitoring as well as service-level monitoring. The customer will be contacted whenever the service is suspended.
Failure segmentation
Involves segmenting of failures as an additional option for the monitoring service.
Failure recovery service
Involves recovery based on failure segmentation results as an additional option for the failure segmentation service.
User administration service
Involves administrative operations such as addition, deletion, and modification of users.

Separate call center basic charges will be incurred for operation options.
