[1]  We will deliver a preliminarily configured router to the customer's location.
[2]  Our staff in charge of maintenance sets up a router at the customer's location.
The router must be returned to KDDI when the contract is canceled regardless of router type and maintenance package[3].

Router rental conditions
<Contract>
The minimum contract period is one year.
When a customer cancels a contract before its period ends, cancellation adjustment fee equivalent to the total of monthly charges for the remaining contract period will be incurred as one-time charge[4].
Multiple-year contracts (two-year contract, three-year contract) are also available.

<Maintenance menu>
Send-back
When a failure occurs, we will send a substitute to the customer's location. The malfunctioning device must be sent back to KDDI by the customer[3].
On-site
Our staff in charge of maintenance visits the customer's location to do work.
Cold standby
We prepare a substitute at the customer's location in advance, and the customer will replace the malfunctioning device with the substitute when a failure occurs. The malfunctioning device must be sent back to KDDI by the customer in the same way as the send-back maintenance type[4].
Type I 9:00-17:00 on weekdays (telephone service is available for 24 hours and 365 days for failure notification)
Type II  24 hours/365 days
Please note that maintenance package type cannot be changed in mid-course[5].(It cannot be changed even when renewing the contract.)

[3]  Customers are to bear the expense for sending back the router.
[4]  Conditions for cancellation vary depending on the router rental package.
[5]  Change in the maintenance package type will be considered the same as cancellation/new contract.(If canceling the package type in mid-course, cancellation adjustment fee will be incurred. In addition, an installation fee, the same amount as that for a new contract will be charged.)
