To receive this service for short-distance communication, the two locations to be connected must both be in an area managed by the same base station. For Kanto area, 10 Mbps can also be used for medium-distance communication within a prefecture or between prefectures.

Among 1 Gbps exclusive lines, this is the communication industry's first end-to-end type service for medium- and long-distance communication.
