This service allows access to your corporate Intranet through au mobile phones using the EZweb service. EZweblink offers you a closed mobile Intranet environment that combines high security with affordability.
With EZweb, you can now access your corporate Intranet simply by entering a URL. Since this does away with the need for a portable computer, it is a highly economical solution for constructing a mobile environment for just the cost of the handset.
Packet-based charges will apply when au (cdmaOne) handsets are used. The service can be used without worrying about connection times since the charges are incurred according to the amount of packets sent.
Since EZweblink connects customer's office to the EZweb network directly via IP-VPN or frame relay, etc., much greater security is assured compared with the conventional method of going through the Internet. Terminal authentication service (paid) is also available for even greater security. Moreover, KDDI further enhances security by not allowing connections to take place with any phone numbers except for preregistered ones.
By using the customer control terminal, customers can register the accessible phone numbers by themselves. Application to KDDI is not necessary for carrying out these registration procedures.
In addition to the usual plan that charges the sender for the number of packets sent, we also offer the collect payment service, where the receiver gets charged instead.
Access lines can be selected according to terminals connected and line speeds.
