Features
The telephone numbers (0AB to J) currently used on the public switched telephone network can be used with this wide-area Ethernet. New telephone numbers can also be provided by KDDI.
Conventionally, extension calls between locations were made using the extension number, but now extension calls can also be made using external numbers (0AB to J).
As a result of this, free extension calls are now possible without employees having to worry about extension or external numbers.
Calls can also be made to NTT subscribed phones and mobile phones inexpensively.
Since it uses a wide-area Ethernet as an access line instead of an NTT phone line, NTT’s basic telephone rate is not charged.
Additional services such as switchboard connection, caller ID function and Centrex Type 1 are also available.
