The following campaign is offered to help customers smoothly consider a subscription to the "KDDI Metal Plus" service.

|
"KDDI Metal Plus" is a new telephone service using KDDI's unique high quality IP networks. Since it does not require NTT switching systems, the NTT basic charges are not billed. Calls can be made reasonably at 8 yen (8.4 yen including tax) per 3 minutes anytime, anywhere in Japan, and the bills for basic call charges, which used to be separate, are integrated into one.
Since NTT equipment was used, in addition to the payment to the telephone company selected in the My Line or My Line Plus services, the NTT basic charges were billed.
Since NTT switching systems are not requried, the NTT basic charges are not billed. Customers only have to pay the KDDI basic charges and call charges for this service.
