End-to-end encryption from sender's terminal to reciever's terminal
Files are encrypted using SSL when traveling through the Internet, and even while on the KDDI Secure Share server, files are encrypted using the “AES256” algorithm. Encrypted files are readable only by designated members, and no one else can access these files with currently available technology. This service has realized a highly sophisticated level of end-to-end secutity that is perfect for corporate users.

No need to send IDs or passwords to recipients over e-mail
With most file transfer services, the recipients of the files must be informed of their IDs, passwords, or URLs where files can be accessed over e-mail. This involves risks, however, such as sending the e-mail to the wrong person and thereby compromising the security of information. KDDI Secure Share does not require you to send IDs or passwords by e-mail, which eliminates the risks of accidentally divulging information to third parties.

The users’ e-mail addresses are used as their IDs, so this makes it easy to specify whom you want to share the file or folder with. Also, as you do not have to separately inform the recipient of a password, you can send the files securely.
