KDDI Faces the Challenge of New Growth

The market environment for the information and communications field is rapidly changing in response to technological innovation, increasing competition on a global scale, and the entry of diverse players. In order to seize these changes as opportunities, KDDI is innovating for new growth. The foundations of this innovation are KDDI's three commitments (More Connected! More Diverse Values! KDDI aims to become a more familiar presence in its customers’ lives. It is doing this by using Wi-Fi to organically link to the KDDI Group’s mobile networks, such as mobile phones and WiMAX, and its fixed networks, such as FTTH and CATV, and providing a high-speed, comfortable communications environment and attractive content for every type of device.
