KDDI Announces Launch of EZ Web "Chaku Jikkyo" Famous Sports Broadcast Content Service
KDDI and Okinawa Cellular have announced the launch of Chaku Jikkyo, an innovative new web service that offers audio excerpts from famous and memorable sports broadcasts for use as ring tones or alerts. Content is provided in cooperation with domestic AM radio broadcasters, including Nippon Broadcasting System, TBS Radio and Nikkei Radio.
au mobile phone users simply download the content on offer using their EZ Web Internet connection. Memorable moments from famous sporting events include Yomiuri Giants and Hanshin Tigers games, J League goal scoring scenes, and the retirement race for Oguri Cap (the famous racing horse). Users will also the able to choose from virtually real-time content that includes choice audio clips taken from the most exciting games and races of that day.
Fees for the service are 100 yen per audio clip (105 yen including consumption tax). The process is easy: au mobile phone users can download the ring tones from the EZ Web by selecting "Enjoyment - Entertainment", then "Radio & Magazine", followed by "Chaku Jikkyo" or by selecting "Get Sounds and Images", then "Chaku Jikkyo". The Chaku Jikkyo service is available for the WIN series and the A5500, A5400, A5300, A1400 and A1300 models of the A series (excluding the A5301T) from June 3.
