Service Overview
Hikari Plus Net DION is a high-speed Internet access service using fiber optics.
Unlike ADSL, this service offers a stable high-speed performance regardless of the distance from the local NTT office, and delivers a comfortable Internet environment to all homes. In addition, up to five e-mail addresses are provided without extra charge.
Users that already use KDDI's DION Internet access service can continue to use their current e-mail address and web URLs.

| 3. Hikari Plus TV |

Service Overview
Hikari Plus TV is a TV program and video delivery service that, by connecting the home TV to STB, enables users to watch multi-channel broadcasting programs as well as approximately 3,000 titles (as of December 2004) of video content including Hollywood movies and cartoons on an on-demand (VOD) basis.
Users pay fixed monthly charges, and can view a 25-channel broadcasting program and three video contents every month (one program over 315 yen and 2 programs less than 210 yen). With additional charges, users can view additional video contents (approximately 105-525 yen per video) by viewing optional channels (five channels) and pay-per-view (PPV).
Users can check the program schedule, watch previews and buy video contents from their au handsets via EZweb, the Internet access service, on the exclusive web site, "EZ de Hikari Plus." For example, users can enjoy watching the video content they purchased outside their homes via EZweb as soon as they return home.
In addition to the video delivery service, users can enjoy Internet karaoke services by using the STB. Approximately 3,500 songs are available (as of December 2004), enabling users to enjoy full-fledged karaoke in their own homes.
KDDI offers the "Family Plan," where up to 300 songs are provided for a monthly fee of 945 yen and the "Party Plan," providing up to 100 songs for a fee of 315 yen per day.
