KDDI Launches the W21CA II, CDMA 1X WIN Internet Cell-phone with Large 2.6-inch LCD Screen, 2-megapixel Camera and PC Browser

KDDI and Okinawa Cellular, are pleased to announce the late April addition of the W21CA II by Casio Computer, a new line for CDMA 1X WIN featuring a large, wide 2.6-inch LCD screen - among the industry's biggest - plus a 2-megapixel camera. It also provides a transmission speed of up to 2.4 Mbps, which is unique to WIN; PC Site Viewer, which enables stress-free browsing of PC Web sites for a flat rate; and the au music download service, EZ Chaku-Uta Full.
The W21CA II is the successor to the highly regarded W21CA, which was launched last December. The concept, "Enjoy services unique to WIN on a big LCD screen," remains the same. As well as new handset colors - Sky Blue, reminiscent of clear water, and Luminous White, a combination of softly glowing white and gleaming silver, the color of the stereo earphones supplied with the handsets has also been changed to white.
KDDI is also pleased to announce that terms for provision of packet discount services such as Double Flat Rate will be improved from May 1, and unlimited use of PC Site Viewer together with EZweb and EZmail will be available for a monthly rate of 5,700 yen (5,985 yen inc. tax). Consequently, PC Site Viewer will be usable with even more convenience and peace of mind than before.
