KDDI Launches W31K II, New CDMA 1X WIN Model Offering High-quality Music, EZ Chaku-Uta Full and FM radio, with a "Friendly Design"

KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are pleased to announce that they will launch the W31K II from Kyocera Corporation to compliment their au range of CDMA 1X WIN 3G handsets. The W31K II will offer full music capability with high-fidelity 3D stereo surround sound, enabling users to enjoy EZ Chaku-Uta Full and FM radio while using e-mail and EZweb. It will also feature "Friendly Design".
The W31K II is the successor to the W31K, which was released in early March this year, gaining widespread popularity. While maintaining the concept of a "music cell-phone" with Friendly Design, the W31K II is available in two new colors - Aquamarine Blue, which evokes the sparkle of clear water, and Breezing Silver, which has a translucent luster.
The W31K II will be available from mid-September.
