KDDI EZ "Chaku-Uta Full®" Downloads Exceed 20 Million

KDDI and Okinawa Cellular, providers the EZ "Chaku-Uta Full®" service for mobile phones, have announced that the service achieved the 20 million song download plateau on September 28, 2005.
EZ "Chaku-Uta Full®" is a music download service which allows an entire song to be downloaded directly onto a mobile handset. With a maximum download speed of 2.4 Mbps via CDMA 1X WIN technology, and "Double Flat" or "Double Flat Light" packet data fixed fee service, users can easily download music anywhere and anytime without worrying about packet data fees.
Currently, 46 websites support EZ "Chaku-Uta Full®" with a total of over 60,000 songs, including many of the latest J-pop hits. Supporting sites and available songs are scheduled to be steadily increased.
To date, au has provided the 'EZmusic!' portal site as well as various music-related services including 'Song Search', 'EZ.FM', and 'au Records'. au will increasingly enhance its unique line-up of pioneering music services, enabling customers to enjoy even more music in their life.
