KDDI Upgrades 'LISMO', Comprehensive Music Service; 'au x SonyMUSIC PROJECT' Will Enable Music to be Enjoyed Freely with LISMO and its Audio Equipment Compatibility

KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are pleased to announce the December upgrade of 'LISMO', the comprehensive music service suite. Dedicated to meeting customers' increasingly diverse requirements for enjoying music, the next generation 'LISMO' will enable 'Chaku-uta Full' files downloaded to au mobile phones to be transferred to Sony audio equipment using PC with newly available 'LISMO Port' PC software.

'LISMO Port' will be integrated with 'mora,' operated by LabelGate, enabling users to download high-quality music from 'mora for LISMO,' a new PC music download service available for 'LISMO Port.' In addition, users will be able to manage 'Chaku-uta Full' and Video Clip files downloaded via au mobile phones along with music files downloaded with 'mora for LISMO' in a seamless fashion.

'LISMO' will also become compatible with Sony'sNET JUKEHDD Network Audio system. Customers who do not use a PC may also useNET JUKEto back up and play 'Chaku-uta Full' files downloaded using an au mobile phone. As music stored in NET JUKEcan be transferred directly to an au mobile phone orWalkman, music can be shared between mobile phones and audio systems without using a PC.

This service upgrade will be available through 'au x Sony MUSIC PROJECT,' which aims to make music more freely enjoyable, and enable customers to choose their preferred music player according to where they are and what they are doing through the day. Customers will be able to share their music resources without constraint across mobile phone, PC, and audio equipment, whether or not they own a PC, and be accompanied by their favorite music in all manner of settings throughout daily life.
