KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are pleased to announce 'Karada (body) Manager', a new health care service from 'au Smart Sports', which will be introduced from mid-November. With 'Karada Manager', users set exercise and nutritional goals and receive relative food and sports advice that will assist them in achieving their goals.

'Karada Manager' contents and services are conveniently provided through EZweb and PC websites, enabling users to pursue health, fitness and beauty ideals. 'Karada Manager' services include lifestyle recommendations towards achieving the goals of users and recording meal and body data. In addition, the service makes it possible for users to efficiently adapt workouts to their daily lives, as additional time is automatically added to their workout time on the 'Run&Walk' menu if the user consumes more than the set number of calories, for example.

From later November, new functionality based in the concept of connectivity will gradually roll out with the 'au Smart Sports - Run&Walk' service including a "team function" that makes it possible to share information with running friends and a function that allows users to share data with affiliated running websites.

The 'Karada Manager' service was jointly developed by KDDI and Primeworks Inc. (president Masashi Ikeda), while the system and the website design were undertaken by Primeworks.
