KDDI is pleased to announce the "Global Managed Security" service. The new service provides a total security solution for customers with businesses expanding on a global scale, and includes construction, installation and maintenance of firewall and UTM  devices to protect network environments, operations management services and security monitoring services, at customer overseas locations
In addition to security measures for Internet connections at customer overseas locations, operations management and security monitoring for the security equipment used to create intranet connections between global sites is also available, protecting against the spread of worms or unauthorized access through company intranets.
The service provides 24-hour, 365-days-a-year, real-time monitoring, so that in the event an incident occurs, notification and advice can be sent to the customer immediately, minimizing any damage.
Security monitoring is handled by one of the leading security companies in Japan, LAC Co. Ltd, at their Japan Security Operation Center (JSOC), which is one of the largest such facilities in Japan.
