The details of the rate reduction are as follows

1.Outline
	The rate for local calls (Intra-zone calls) is to be reduced, for all the time periods, to 8.80 yen per three minutes. The reduction rate is supposed to be 56%.

No revision is made as to the long distance call statement.
2.Date of Effectuation
	The rate reduction is planned to take effect on May 1, 2001.
