With Bluetooth, KDDI and au offer new ways to use mobile phones, allowing networking between mobile phones and various information terminals in the future.

1.Function and Characteristic
	The C413S is a cdmaOne mobile phone handset that comes with EZweb@mail e-mail functions that allows users to send, receive and save pictures by e-mail, send mail with 5,000 capital letters at once, and also the C-mail function "oshaberi mode" which allows chat-like communications. The C413S has 256 color liquid crystal display and a 16 codes ringing tones.
	1)	Bluetooth functions
		KDDI has, for the first time in Japan, incorporated the Bluetooth global short-range radio transmissions standard for use in mobile phones, allowing data transmission between related mobile phones and PCs within 10 meters.
		(1) Direct communication between C413S phones Bluetooth will enable transmission of data such as addresses and schedules between C413S handsets easily and quickly without having to go over telephone lines. This allows users to share information and data even if handsets are not faced each other or some obstacles stand between them. This sort of direct communication is free of charge since it is a radio communication between mobile phones. (2) Wireless PC Access By connecting handsets to Bluetooth-enabled PCs, it's possible to make a dial-up internet connection for your PC using the 'PacketOne' packet communication service. Since there are no cables involved, it's possible to connect to the Internet even if your phone is in your pocket or bag, allowing mobile computing in any situation. (3) "Miracle Lovers": amusement using Bluetooth. Putting two or more C413Ss together allows users to enjoy the following amusements using Bluetooth. ・ Tomodachi radar: A game whereby users find out who entered the same password.For example,it is useful for waiting a person. ・ affinity fortune telling: Lovers and friends can check if they will get along today. ・ Soul-mate finder: Find out who your soul mate is from the game participants ・ Today's fortune: Find out what your day will be like today. (no Bluetooth function).
	2)	Predicted conversion power input function "POBox" onboard
		POBox predicts possible words available for the initial letters entered. Choosing the line of letters from the list makes it quicker to input words. POBox also learns words so it gets smoother as users keep using it. POBox (Predictive Operation Based On eXample) is a registered brand of Sony Corp.
	3)	Make music with 'Star Adventure 2001'
		A game where you make the melody, write words and play it. The music made can be saved in a folder and used as an original ringing tone.
