KDDI Launches the new DION Dial-up Menu
'Komi-Komi Course Petit-Light'




Tokyo, August 20, 2001 -- KDDI Corp. is pleased to announce that from September 8 it will start a new internet access service called 'DION Dial-up.' KDDI has notified the Minister of Public Management, Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications about the new service.

To meet wide ranging customer needs, KDDI has added the 'Komi-Komi Course Petit-Light' to the current range of 'DION Dial-up' services. Like all of the current courses, 'Light', 'Regular' and 'Long', the 'Komi-Komi Course Petit-Light' is a flat-rate service irrespective of a customer's location in Japan.

However, this new service introduces an optimum fee structure for customers with low monthly usage.

Usage limit for flat rate fee 1 hour
Additional charge
for exceeding the usage limit		 10 yen/minute
