Next generation services to be available throughout Japan from December 2001
	KDDI will upgrade EZweb transmission speed to 64 kbps from14.4 kbps, allowing movie clip delivery
	In addition, KDDI will offer JAVA applications, gpsOne and WAP 2.0 services nationwide over KDDI’s cdmaOne packet network
CDMA2000 1x services to be available throughout major Japanese cities from April 2002
	KDDI will upgrade facilities to raise packet network transmission rates to 144 kbps; with the speed of next generation services the number of applications and contents will increase also making possible enhancements for services such as gpsOne, movie clip delivery and WAP 2.0
	KDDI will make available services first in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and other major cities throughout Japan.
	KDDI customers need only one handset to use both CDMA2000 1x and cdmaOne services
