KDDI Launches Security Monitoring Service |
Tokyo, October 22, 2001 -- KDDI Corp. today launched the 'Security Monitoring Service,' which allows users to remotely monitor unauthorized access of their corporate networks 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The spread of computer viruses and unauthorized access to communication networks has become a global issue, leading to demand for a wide range of network security. Meeting this customer demand, KDDI launched the Security Monitoring Service, allowing users to remotely monitor access of their network by anyone that does not have authorization 24 hours a day, throughout the year. Users of this service will receive immediate notice from KDDI whenever anyone has managed to obtain unauthorized network access or if someone has attacked their network. It will include an automatic session cut-out against network intruders and a firewall that offers protection against attacks and other security threats, offering users a high level of security. The service will use Internet Security Systems' RealSecure Network Sensor, the world's number one access detection software, and it will run exclusively on Yokogawa Electric Corporation's highly reliable RealSecure 'IS100'. Users will not need to arrange and install a separate server, alleviating the need to set up any new equipment
