KDD to Open Vietnam Liaison Office

KDD (Japan's Global Communications) will open on December 2 KDD Vietnam Liaison Office to provide customers with better international telecommunication service support in Hanoi, Vietnam. There has been a remarkable surge in the demand for telecommunicnations due to the increasing number of Japanese businesses setting up operations in Hanoi and Japanese visiting the city.

KDD VietNam Liaison Office will maintain contact with and coordinate efforts with the local telecommunication carrier and collect information on the Vietnamese telecommunications. Through such activities, it is the office's responsibility to provide prompt and meticulous support to customers. The office will cater primarily to customers that require international telecommunications between Japan and Vietnam by enabling them to use the optimal means of international telecommunications.

Vietnam has been experiencing a remarkable economic growth in recent years. Many Japanese companies have been eagerly setting up operations in the country. This trend is reflected by the surge in international direct dial calls to Vietnam over the last few years.
