System Requirements
For secure and comfortable viewing and usage of the KDDI Web Site (hereafter referred to as "Web Site"), the following operating system, browser and plug-in software are required. KDDI strongly recommends that users first confirm the version of their software before downloading.

Minimum OS and Browser Requirements

Windows (XP/Vista)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or higher

Macintosh (Mac OS X 10.1 or highter)
Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or highter
Safari 2.0 or highter

Recommended OS and browser requirements exclude preview releases and beta versions of software.

Plug-in Requirements
Portions of this website require Adobe Flash Player 8.0 or higher.

In addition, viewing and/or printing of PDF files requires Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 or higher, and viewing of streamed video content requires RealPlayer/RealOne Player, Microsoft Windows Media Player or other compatible software.

The most recent version is required for some pages.

Security
This Web Site uses "SSL" (Secure Sockets Layer) to protect customer privacy. By using a browser that is compatible with this security function, all sensitive information entered by a customer such as name, address and telephone number is automatically encrypted for transmission between the Web Site and the customer. Therefore, even if transmitted data are intercepted by an unauthorized third party during transmission, the content is encrypted and unreadable.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.1 or higher and Netscape Navigator 2.0 or higher support SSL; however, it is highly recommended that you use the latest version of web browser software which incorporates reinforced SSL security functions and includes the most up-to-date security bug fixes.

Currently web browser versions that are compliant with the latest 128-bit SSL security are Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher (5.0 and higher in the case of Macintosh versions) and Netscape Communicator 4.06~4.08 or higher.

Important Notice for Mac OS Internet Explorer 5.x Users!
In the case of Internet Explorer 5.x on the Macintosh platform, the "Back" button on the web browser does not function because SSL screens are dynamically generated by CGI, etc., and are not saved in memory cache.

In the case of viewing a page using SSL, KDDI recommends using web browser software other than Internet Explorer 5.x (for example, Netscape Communicator, etc.)

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)
Industry-standard method for protecting web communications with data encryption, server authentication, message integrity, and optional client authentication for a TCP/IP connection.

Access Data
Some pages of this Web Site are embedded with tags for the purpose of collecting information on customer usage (access). We will use the access data we have collected to enhance the convenience of the Web Site and to maintain and improve its quality.
