Internet services (in Japanese only)

With its maximum 1 Gbps [1] for uplink/downlink (maximum of 100 Mbps for multiple family buildings), au HIKARI offers high-speed large capacity Internet connection services. As large data is communicated at high speed on FTTH, you can enjoy interactive Web contents and streaming videos.

Phone services (in Japanese only)

This phone service offers high quality phone services with lower basic fees and charges using optical fiber and CDN. You can continue to use your phone number and phone.

TV services (in Japanese only)

If you want to enjoy optical fiber broadband access to the fullest, au HIKARI TV service is it. This service offers multi-channel broadcasting and video rental anytime in your living room.

[1] This service is a best effort type service. The maximum speed of 1 Gbps (or 100 Mbps) for downlink/uplink indicates the maximum value in terms of the technical standard for the line between the terminal end installed in your residence and one of KDDI's facilities. This does not indicate the actual usage speed inside your residence. When the Internet is used simultaneously, it may be reduced significantly depending on numerous factors such as your usage environment and line traffic.

au Welcome Special Offer

This package is for a single-family house or small-scale multiunit housing (3 stories or less in Kanto area and 2 stories or less in Hokkaido area, in principle).

* Excludes public housing and housing managed by public sectors or Urban Renaissance Agency.

au HIKARI Home Giga Value Plan (for au one net)

For the applications received October 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010

Discount of ¥787.5/month for 24 months on the Internet service monthly charge
Discount of ¥525/month for 24 months on the phone service monthly charge [2]
The initial basic setup fee for Rush Setup Support service is offered at ¥2,100 [3]

[2] In addition, for each telephone number contracted, there will be a fee of ¥8.4/month as the universal service fees.

<Notes concerning the Special Introductory Offer>
The discount will be applied one month after the start of the billing period for each respective Internet and phone services, and will continue for 24 months. If you cancel within 24 months, the discount will not be continued. The amount of discount for the month that you cancel will not be per-diem. When the charged monthly fees for the month in question do not exceed the discount amount for the respective Internet and phone services, the discount will be up to that charged amount. There is no money refund for the difference.

When the special offer period is over, the normal charged fees will be applied automatically.
This will be limited to one offer per location. If the customer moves or cancels the service during the applicable period, the special offer will be terminated.
Costs other than mentioned above and other monthly charges may be incurred separately.
The billing will be calculated by multiplying the total of the untaxed amount with the tax rate and then rounding it to the nearest yen, which may vary from the total amount of the indicated fees.

au HIKARI Condo

This package is for multiunit housing.
Optimal types appropriate for each condo will be offered.

au HIKARI Condo (for au one net)

For the applications received October 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010

Discount of ¥1,980/month [4] for up to 6 months from the Internet service monthly charge irrespective of the number of contracted units and the type categories [5].
Initial cost is free [6]
The initial basic setup fee for Rush Setup Support service is offered at ¥2,100 [7].
A discount of ¥980/month for up to 6 months from the phone service monthly charge is offered. When you subscribe by October 31, 2009, the initial basic setup fee for Rush Setup Support service is offered free of charge (limited to those who subscribe to the Phone service (unbundled) only) [8].

[4] A discount is applied to a bank account automatic transfer or credit card payment. An additional ¥105/month fee will be charged in case of counter payment. When the special offer period is over, the normal charged fees will be applied (¥3,990/month for Type V (16 contracts or more) and URA Deluxe (DX); ¥4,305/month for Type V (8 contracts or more)).
[5] Bundled type and URA 16 M (B) Basic 16 M (R) rental are excluded.
[6] Registration fee for the Bundle type will be free.
[7] These charges are applied when you newly subscribe to the service during the period specified above and request "Rush Setup Support" by the end of June 2010.
