When making an international call from a hotel room, the hotel may charge an extra fee regardless the actual cost of the call. Please check with the hotel in advance. However, the total cost of the call using this service usually becomes less expensive than the cost of a call using a service provided by local telephone companies.
Economical call rates from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Hong Kong! The special rates apply for calls made to Japan via the KDDI group's dedicated access numbers using a credit card issued in Japan which are consistent 24 hours a day and charged in units of 6 seconds.

When making a call from other regions using a credit card, the call rates are the same as the "001 KDDI" International Direct Dialing calls made from Japan to the region which are charged in units of 6 seconds. You can enjoy more saving if you place calls during the evening and holidays, or late night and early morning discount time periods in Japan Local Time.
