May 31, 2010

KDDI India Private, LTD (current headquarters: New Delhi), an overseas affiliate of KDDI, will to transfer its headquarters from New Delhi to Gurgaon, Haryana on June 14th, 2010 in order to enhance local customer support in northern India area [1].

KDDI India will simultaneously establish an office in Neemrana Industrial Area, Rajasthan.

Establishing these offices will enable KDDI India to expand and enhance its support capabilities in the ICT field toward Japanese enterprise customers who are entering the Indian market, and launching and operating offices and factories across India. KDDI India will provide its customers with business critical ICT service offerings such as system integration and operations and maintenance of customer communications equipment.

Gurgaon, Haryana in North India is a commercial district located approximately thirty kilometers southwest of New Delhi. An increasing number of Japanese companies in various industries are entering and expanding in Gurgaon. The expanding Japanese presence is particularly significant among motorcycle and automobile related manufacturers.

Neemrana, Rajasthan, located approximately 120 kilometers southwest of New Delhi has the site of an industrial complex devoted to Japanese companies and is proactively attracting new Japanese investments into the region.

Industrial complexes where many Japanese enterprises base their local operations are dispersed between New Delhi, southern Gurgaon, and Neemrana. The new offices in Gurgaon and Neemrana will enable KDDI to rapidly respond to the growing ICT needs of Japanese corporate customers participating in the Indian market.

KDDI India has already established four offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai. With the upcoming transfer of headquarters and the establishment of the new office, KDDI India will be operating a total of six offices throughout India.

This brings KDDI's overseas presence to 87 offices in 57 cities in 25 regions.

KDDI will continue to expand its presence globally, enriching its services, and supporting corporate customers to satisfy their highest priority ICT requirements.
