Introducing BREW® App "Skype™｜au"

KDDI Corporation and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company will start offering "Skype™｜au," a BREW® app for au mobile phones at the time of compatible models' release.

In collaboration with Skype Limited., KDDI is currently offering "Skype™｜au" app for au smartphones. By offering BREW® app for au mobile phones, users of compatible au mobile phones other than smartphones can also make Skype voice calls, send instant messaging and make international calls.

KDDI is offering users of "Skype™｜au" to make voice calls to "Skype™｜au" and Skype users around the world free of charge until November 31, 2011. The free calls are extended after December 2011 [1].
