Start of the Study Riot 2013 Campaign
— This summer teens will study more and play more —

In conjunction with the start of the GAKUMO service, from July 1, 2013, KDDI will start "Study Riot 2013" for customers who subscribe to GAKUMO. This campaign is in association with the teen rock festival, "Flash Riot 2013".

Campaign details

(1) Free original music

Period: July 1, 2013 to September 30, 2013
Customers subscribing to GAKUMO will get a copy of the original song "Kiku dake de benkyo ni naru (Learn just by listening) " sung by the Vanilla Beans as a gift.

(2) Special gift (raffle)

Customers who subscribe to GAKUMO and study for 1 hour or more will be entered into a raffle to win concert tickets and study goods.

Round 1 Entry period: July 1, 2013 to July 20, 2013
"Let's go to Flash Riot!" ¥10,000 towards travel expenses and VIP seating:30 people

Round 2 Entry period: July 21, 2013 to August 31, 2013

Flash Riot 2013

Flash Riot is an outdoor rock festival featuring exclusively teenage artists held every summer since 2008. The first Flash Riot was brought by the TOKYO FM radio show, "SCHOOL OF LOCK!", Sony Music and other supporters. KDDI has been a supporter of the festival since its second installment in 2009. Flash Riot has been the launching point of professional debuts for "Galileo Galilei", "Negoto", and other artists.
Qualifying events for Flash Riot 2013 will be held in Tokyo, Sapporo, Nagoya, and Osaka, and the final show will be held on August 4, 2013 at the Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall.
