KDDI currently offers 'Original Mail' and 'Original Web' services as part of its server hosting services. Under the terms of these services, KDDI sets up DNS servers, mail servers, and WWW servers, leaving customers free from the trouble of worrying about servers and maintenance. The services provide a low cost solution for small and medium sized companies looking to outsource management and maintenance of servers for the construction of an internet or intranet environment.

In addition to the usual server hosting services, the new "DION Hosting Service" offers customer-created CGI (Common Gateway Interface) that allows customers to make use of shopping cart contents; a secure transmission-coded telesecurity system called 'SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)'; streamed music and picture contents distribution, and other functions that meet all customer needs.

With a maximum of 10,000 e-mail addresses and a maximum storage capacity of 1,000MB, the service will be useful for a wide range of clients, up to and including large enterprises. By allocating optional disk space for mail and web clients, KDDI customers have increased levels of freedom.

With a line-up that includes hosting, data centers and others, KDDI is set to expand its e-business market potential by offering total e-business support.

	KDDI offers three plans depending on each user's needs. The basic outline and fee structure are as follows.

	The basic service may include an access counter, mail form, notice board, date, and clock. Furthermore, scripts written in perl 5, c-shell, b-shell languages may be used.
2)	Use of SSL
	Coding may be used to improve telesecurity.
3)	Use of Streaming
