Tokyo, November 11, 2002 -- KDDI CORP. will begin offering the "KDDI-IP Telephone Service" on a trial basis to individual customers from December 10.

"KDDI-IP Telephone Service" is a best-effort IP service available to customers of DION`s ADSL service and other services. KDDI will offer trial services from December 2002 to verify technical aspects and quality; full service operations are scheduled to begin in the spring of 2003.
Please refer to the attachment for details regarding conditions for the provision of services during the trial period.

| 2.Applications for Participation in the Trial Service |

KDDI will invite users currently subscribing to DION ADSL and other related services to participate in the "KDDI-IP Telephone Service" trial. Applications will be accepted via the DION homepage (http://www.dion.ne.jp/). |
