INMARSAT B-HSD SERVICE

 KDD will launch Inmarsat B-HSD(High Speed Data) Service effective on April 24th in POR/IOR, and May 1st in AOR-E/AOR-W.

 B-HSD service provides the ships with 64kbps connectivity with terrestrial ISDN terminals or between the ships, while ISDN users on land can call the ships in the same manner as they call the other ISDN terminals. Compared to the normal Inmarsat-B data communications at the speed of 9.6kbps, B-HSD offers the ship owners various multimedia communications, such as; vessel management system, video conferencing, tele-medical care, graphic data transfer as well as the smooth access to the internet.

Now we will provide a special charge until September 30th as promotion period , for a communication between Inmarsat B systems, reduced as 1.26SDR.
