1.Outline of service |

The discount service is offered on the condition that users be students, and will offer a 50% discount on the basic usage charges and up to 50% discount on the dialing charges of au (cdmaOne, digital).
The service will be an annual subscription-type discount, and discount service subscriptions will be for one year's continued use of the telephone service. |
* | A subscription cancellation charge will be payable whenever users cancel or otherwise terminate use of the service before the full yearly term is completed. |
* | Subscribers to the annual subscription-type discount service "Oyakusoku Waribiki" will have the duration of their subscription carried over. |

2.Customers qualifying for the service |

Students attending schools designated by KDDI. |
* | Schools designated as qualifying for the service include universities, graduate schools, junior colleges, higher institutes of vocational education, high schools, junior high schools, specialized training schools, and certain other institutes of education. |
* | To qualify for use of the service, students will be required to present a student ID or other certificates. |

* | The upper figure given under "Basic usage charge" is the "Gakuwari" discounted charge; the figure in parentheses underneath is the regular subscription charge. |
* | The amount of free dialing is also 50% (half). However, the maximum number of free minutes will remain unchanged, as the dialing charges are also subject to discount. |
* | With the PDC system, i:za, O-shigoto Plan, and O-Talk Plan will not qualify for this service. |

Prior to the introduction of this service, the service is to be offered in the au Group's (eight cellular companies) sectors of Kansai, Kyushu, Chugoku, Tohoku, Hokkaido, Hokuriku, Shikoku, and Okinawa as of November 1 this year. |
5.Date of commencement |

The service is due to be introduced on December 1 of this year. |
