KDDI to Offer "au My Page" Combined Cell Phone and PC Personal Portal Site

KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are pleased to introduce "au My Page", a fully fledged personal portal service offering 100 Mbyte of free data storage and the facility to be customized in accordance with the usage patterns of individual users. The service will be available from mid-September.

"au My Page" is a personal portal site that allows information to be retrieved at no charge, enhancing accessibility to the world of EZweb and making it easier than ever to use an array of EZweb services and contents. By building up stores of personal items such as e-mails and photographs as they use their mobile phone, users can enjoy creating their own personal history as well as customizing their portal screen freely according to their usage pattern. Data or portal sites saved from a PC can also be used.

The main features of the "au My Page" portal service include:

Stores up to 100 Mbyte of important data such as e-mails and photographs. Also, data can be stored easily from the mobile phone menu.
As well as allowing the menu and design of the portal screen to be customized according to the preferences of the user, the site also delivers the latest information on EZweb contents tailored to the attributes or interests of the user.
It is possible to browse or edit stored data or portal sites from a mobile phone as well as from a PC.
Information updates are delivered in conjunction with EZ News flash to the standby screen of the mobile phone.
