  • Charges are exempted from taxes.

  • KDDI's Land Earth Station can be accessed from the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean - East and Atlantic Ocean - West. The same rate applies to all ocean regions.
  • Normally, there are about 32 letters for every 256 bits. If you send or receive letters at 5 bits per letter on a vessel side, then it is possible to have 51 letters for every 256 bits.
  • The message header, with information about the sender and recipient, is also subject to charging. The charges for the header are normally equivalent to about three lots of 256 bits.
  • All of the indicated amounts exclude tax unless otherwise specified.
