KDDI Recognized with 4.5 Stars in the Nikkei SDGs Management Survey and 4.5 Stars in the Nikkei Smart Work Management Survey
The Nikkei Sustainable Survey―SDGs Management Edition, conducted by Nikkei Inc. since 2019, comprehensively evaluates corporate initiatives that link business activities with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to enhance both social contribution and corporate value. The survey assesses companies across four key areas: "SDGs Strategy and Economic Value," "Social Value," "Environmental Value," and "Governance."
KDDI received high marks in the areas of "SDGs Strategy & Economic Value" and "Social Value," and was awarded an overall rating of 4.5 stars.
The Smart Work Management Edition of the survey, launched in 2017, evaluates leading companies that aim to maximize corporate value by leveraging human resources, accelerating investment in people, and driving innovation and productivity. Companies are rated on a 5-star scale based on three criteria: "Human Resource Utilization," "Human Capital Investment," and "Technology Utilization."
KDDI received high praise, particularly in the "Human Resource Investment" category, and was certified with 4.5 stars.

KDDI Selected as a Sustainability Yearbook Member by S&P Global for the Third Consecutive Year
On February 18, 2026, KDDI was selected as a Sustainability Yearbook Member in the Sustainability Yearbook 2026 published by S&P Global, a leading global provider of ESG research and ratings. This marks the third consecutive year KDDI has received this recognition.
S&P Global evaluates the sustainability performance of major companies worldwide across governance, economic, environmental, and social dimensions. Each year, the top 15% of companies in each industry are selected as Yearbook Members and featured in The Sustainability Yearbook.
In 2026, more than 9,200 companies from 59 industries worldwide were evaluated, and 848 companies were included in the "Sustainability Yearbook 2026."

KDDI Receives CDP's Highest Rating for Climate Change Response for the Fourth Consecutive Year
On December 10, 2025, KDDI was selected for the Climate Change A List by CDP, an international environmental non-governmental organization, for the fourth consecutive year.
This highest rating recognizes KDDI as a global leader in environmental action, particularly for its efforts in climate-related target setting, implementation, and transparency.

KDDI Selected for All ESG Indices Adopted by GPIF for the Ninth Consecutive Year
KDDI has been selected for inclusion in all ESG indices adopted by Japan's Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) for the ninth consecutive year.
This recognition reflects KDDI's consistent commitment to sustainability across environmental, social, and governance dimensions, and its alignment with the responsible investment principles upheld by GPIF.
