KDDI Open Innovation Fund III Makes Additional Investment in RevComm, Provider of Voice Analysis AI that Supports Conversation Data Utilization
July 22, 2026
KDDI CORPORATION
KDDI made an additional investment in RevComm Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takeshi Aida; hereinafter "RevComm"), provider of the "MiiTel" voice analysis AI, through its corporate venture fund, KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (operated by Global Brain Corporation; hereinafter "KOIF III"), which aims to incubate new business co-creations with promising startups.
RevComm provides "MiiTel," a voice analysis AI that leverages voice technology and AI to visualize and analyze all types of business conversations including phone calls, web conferences, and face-to-face meetings.
In recent years, advances in generative AI have led to the rapid spread of AI use within enterprises. On the other hand, voice communication generated in daily business operations, such as sales activities, contact centers, online meetings, and face-to-face negotiations, is still treated as person-dependent and unstructured information in many cases, which leaves significant room for utilization aimed at operational improvements and enhanced customer experiences.
In the AI era, the utilization of conversation data held by enterprises is gaining importance across a wide range of fields. RevComm's technologies and products are expected to serve as a foundation for accelerating corporate DX and AI utilization.
KDDI has been investing in RevComm through KOIF III since October 2020 (
Note 1). Through its collaboration with RevComm to date, KDDI has been exploring the possibilities of voice AI utilization both inside and outside the KDDI Group. Through this additional investment, KDDI will leverage its assets in telecommunications, corporate customer base, AI and data utilization, and the contact center sector to support RevComm's further business growth while aiming to create new customer experience value originating from voice data.
As a "company that inspires passionate challenges," KDDI will continue to promote business co-creation through investment in promising startups, and create new business models together with customers and partners.
