KDDI invested in Deeping Source Inc. (Headquarters: Eonju-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea; CEO: Tae-hoon Kim; hereinafter "Deeping Source"), a provider of digital transformation (DX) support for Store Operations, through KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (operated by Global Brain Corporation; hereinafter "KOIF III"), which aims to incubate new business co-creations with promising venture startups.

Deeping Source is an innovation leader in the field of video analysis utilizing Vision AI technology in retail business. The company develops and provides AI agents as well as the "SEAL" and "PLUS INSIGHT" solutions which analyze insights for store operators and optimize operations based on anonymized privacy information.
Deeping Source will contribute to the digital transformation of retailers as an AI solution partner that maximizes customer experience and store operation efficiency.
