KDDI Invests in Resemble AI, a leader in responsible generative AI verification technology

Tokyo, Japan―December 9, 2025― KDDI today announced its investment in Resemble AI Inc., a leader in responsible generative AI verification technology.
The investment was made through KDDI Open Innovation Fund V (KOIF V), KDDI's corporate venture fund dedicated to co-creating new businesses with promising startups in domains such as AI and Deep Tech, with a focus on both inbound and outbound opportunities for the Japanese market.

Bad actors are using generative AI to create deepfakes that are nearly impossible to detect from authentic content. Subsequently, organizations face mounting pressure to verify digital content authenticity and protect against threats from disinformation to fraud.
